Information
Welcome to the Palm Grove Christian Holiday Camp Ltd
We are located on the picturesque Kapiti Coast, in among the peaceful surroundings of the Maungakotukutukus, approximately
50km north of Wellington City. On our property is 'Nikau Lodge' which was one of the first homesteads built in the area, in
the late 1800's.

Our camp is situated among 10.5 acres of native bush, and is able to offer private and tranquil setting ideal for all groups.
Unlike other camps in the area, we only book one camp at a time, so your group has full use of all of our facilities, and you
can run your programme as it suits you.

We have suitable facilities for all groups from schools, workplaces, clubs or organisations wanting to host a fun time away.
Food at Camp
Catering kitchen - our large kitchen with full facilities is where some memorable meals will be created. We are well known for our excellent food, which is made to a very high standard and is certainly not the 'normal camp tucker!'
Please bring home baking for MT, AT and Supper.
Accomodation
Accommodation - we have sleeping facilities for up to 140 people.
We have bunk style cabins which can sleep 6 to 8 in each room (we do have extra beds and mattresses which can be added if necessary)
'Nikau Lodge' has 4 bedrooms which can sleep up to 22 people
Cottage - a two room building with a queen bed and a set of bunks
Activities 2010
Water Slide - 90 meter canvas waterslide, with inflated sides. Water is pumped to the top of the slide for riders to come down the incline on mats.
Orienteering - explore some of the native surroundings as you follow our established course.
Confidence course - this is a low (ground level) course that has been designed to be both exciting and challenging, team work and leadership skills will be developed using this.
Pool - we have a large swimming pool which is open from late October until the end of April.
Flying Fox - 90m long
Archery - we also have equipment which can be included into your programme.
ROPES COURSEs - We are well known for our High and Low ropes courses. The courses are run by an experienced instructor and all who participate find it to be a very rewarding and satisfying experience. Safety harnesses and helmets are supplied to all who participate.
